Behavioral Health (Mental Health & Addictive Disease) Treatment in East Central Georgia
Our goal is to make treatment accessible at all times of need. We practice Open Access (select sites) and scheduled appoints for admission assessment. Individuals can call or walk-in during Open Access hours. Open Access gives you the ease of access without the hassle of scheduling an appointment, because individuals can walk-in when you need help.
Open Access Hours:
- Augusta Outpatient Clinic – Monday through Friday 8:00am – 11:30am
The first contact is an intake assessment for all programs, Adult and Child/Adolescents. The intake assessment will gather an array of information to evaluate and enroll you into treatment, including, financial and insurance verification, health and treatment history, education and employment, and lawful presence documentation. We will also review an informed consent, your rights and responsibilities, and our Privacy Notice. A clinician will complete a biopsychosocial assessment to determine eligibility for treatment, appropriate services/level of care, and schedule your first treatment appointment. If you are not eligible for treatment services, we will provide referral information.
Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
Admission for IDD services in Georgia are facilitated by the DBHDD Field Office for each DBHDD Region. We work collectively with the DBHDD Region 2 Field Office. We will assist you with coordinating your intake and evaluation with them.
